Editorial Policy and Fact Checking
Understand how we research, review, update and correct our independent U.S. career guidance.
Our editorial purpose
EmpleaYa exists to make career information understandable and actionable. We prioritize clear, human writing, practical examples and precise distinctions between the kinds of roles that exist and jobs that are actually open.
Sources and verification
Employer guides are based on companies’ official careers hubs and job-family descriptions. Broader career information draws from agencies including the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, FTC and USCIS. We do not present an unverified recruiter message as an official vacancy.
How we write employer articles
- Identify the employer’s official recruitment domain.
- Explain the role families, likely work settings and how to find localized requirements.
- Offer resume, interview and application steps grounded in the role type.
- Mark uncertain or time-sensitive information as conditional and direct readers to verify it.
- Link to related articles that genuinely help the reader’s next decision.
Employment demand and statistics
National BLS employment projections show trends, not real-time vacancies. Whenever we mention a statistic, we aim to name the period and source rather than implying it is a live job count.
Independence and affiliations
Company names, trademarks and logos belong to their owners. Inclusion does not mean that an employer sponsors or endorses the site. We do not charge readers for job placement.
Corrections
If you find a broken official link, outdated hiring detail or factual error, please use Contact and include the article URL and evidence. We review credible corrections and update the relevant content when necessary.
Advertising and sponsorship disclosures
At the time of this starter website, no advertising integration is included. If the operator later enables display ads, sponsorships or affiliate links, they should be clearly disclosed, separated from editorial recommendations and described in the privacy/cookie notices as applicable. Payment must never determine a false claim that a vacancy exists.
