Cookie Policy
Learn which types of cookies may appear on EmpleaYa and how to manage your browser preferences.
Last reviewed: November 2, 2026. The basic EmpleaYa theme and editorial plugin do not add advertising or analytics cookies of their own. This page should be reviewed again when additional services are installed.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website may ask a browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. Depending on their purpose, they can support essential site features, site measurement or personalized advertising.
2. Default website behavior
Public guide pages can be read without signing in. WordPress administration uses login and session cookies for site editors. WordPress and the hosting provider may use security, functional or load-balancing technologies as configured. The EmpleaYa contact form’s anti-spam counter is held server-side as a short-lived transient; it is not an advertising cookie.
3. Optional services that may change cookie use
If the operator later enables analytics, embedded videos, social media widgets, advertising or a content-delivery/security service, those tools may use additional cookies or similar technologies. Their purposes, providers, retention periods, consent mechanisms and cross-border handling must be documented here before deployment where required by law.
4. Consent and advertising
Nonessential cookies or personalized advertising may require advance consent or other privacy controls in relevant jurisdictions. This starter project does not supply a certified consent-management platform or claim compliance with every advertising network. A qualified consent-management solution should be configured before enabling relevant tracking or ads.
5. Your browser controls
Most browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies through their privacy settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account or administration functions from working. Your browser’s preferences do not automatically replace a site’s legal consent duties.
