About EmpleaYa
Learn why we created an independent English-language guide to U.S. employers and safer job-search decisions.
Why EmpleaYa exists
Searching for work is difficult enough without confusing job boards, recycled advice or pages that never lead to a real employer. EmpleaYa is an independent editorial website created in Honduras for people researching career possibilities in the United States. Our aim is to explain job-search decisions in straightforward English, with examples and links to primary sources.
What you will find here
We publish guides to major U.S. employers, common career paths, professional resumes, interviews, work settings, city comparisons and safer application habits. Our employer articles describe possible career families, not guaranteed current vacancies. Each company guide links to an official career website so the reader can verify a real posting.
How we research our content
We favor official employer recruitment websites and U.S. public agencies such as the Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. We distinguish permanent information from changing details, such as application availability, compensation and eligibility. We correct substantive errors when we discover them.
What we do not do
- We do not hire for or represent the companies discussed.
- We do not collect resumes through this site or sell job offers.
- We do not provide legal, immigration or professional employment advice tailored to your situation.
- We cannot promise job placement, interviews, sponsorship, wages or benefit eligibility.
Created in Honduras, written for a global audience
βMade in Hondurasβ describes the editorial project’s origin. It does not mean the featured businesses employ people in Honduras or that U.S. work authorization requirements can be bypassed.
