Cookie Policy
Understand essential and advertising cookies, privacy choices and browser controls.
Cookies help websites function. Some also support analytics and advertising. Here is what these technologies can do on EmpleaYa and how you can make informed choices.
How we categorize technologies
- Essential and security: functions needed for site delivery, WordPress administration, login protection, load management or fraud prevention.
- Preferences: remembering choices such as display settings when the relevant feature is available.
- Audience measurement: estimating usage, diagnosing page performance and understanding navigation if measurement tools are enabled.
- Advertising: ad delivery, frequency limits, fraud detection, reporting and—where permitted—personalization.
- Embedded content: third-party media can set or read identifiers when that content is displayed or interacted with.
The presence, duration and provider of a particular cookie depend on the active configuration, browser and region; there is no single fixed list that applies identically to every visitor.
Google advertising and partner identifiers
Where Google Ad Manager or Google AdSense serves ads, Google and other authorized advertising technology companies may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons or other identifiers. These technologies can help select and measure ads, prevent invalid traffic and, if lawful and allowed by your settings, tailor ads to interests.
Google explains its practices in How Google uses information from partner sites. Advertising preferences can be adjusted through Google My Ad Center. The companies involved can vary with ad inventory and the provider settings.
Consent and regional requirements
Some countries require visitors to be offered a meaningful choice before optional storage or data processing. Depending on the region and advertising configuration, users may be offered controls to accept, reject or modify eligible purposes and vendors.
For certain Google-served advertising in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework is required. A cookie policy is information, not a consent mechanism.
